OUTSIDE DINING



Diners ate out-of-doors almost year round, and met many interesting people in the process.  The only fast food available was fresh fruit.

  1. People didn't eat out as often as we do now; also there weren't as many restaurants from which to choose. It was expensive and there wasn't an abundance of money after the war.
