BUGS, BUGS AND MORE BUGS
Bugs were everywhere! Mosquitos especially looked for girls first since we weren't allowed to wear long pants to school - our legs became great targets. Boys were usually next on their lists.
Joelle, due to an early Spring here, the bugs are out full force. Bees, gnats and mosquitoes, but I haven't seen any dragonflies yet. As a kid, I was the mosquitoes' prime target, and would often have as many as a hundred bites at once.
A cousin of mine put small band-aids on each mosquito bite he got when he wore short pants one summer. Band-aids were all over his legs! Did you put anything on yours? Bugs are out full force in Kansas this Spring also.
I know that these are not all classified as "bugs". I generalized the categories of several well-known and much hated pests.
