"N" - SHE WANTED TO TAKE CARE OF OTHERS (NURTURE)

I enjoyed taking care of my dolls - "Kay", a Toni doll that survived many permanents and shampoos; "Barbara", a Madame Alexander ballerina that arrived in a pink satin and net tutu, and an 8" Vogue Ginny doll that I especially loved.  I made clothes for "Ginny", and kept her outfits washed, starched and ironed.

  1. I love your artwork and how it keys into your feelings and memories of your childhood and the 50s in general. They are really well composed and designed as well. Where do you get all your materials from? Have you saved them up over the years?

  2. Thank you so much Garth. I appreciate hearing from you especially since I admire your work. Yes, a lot of my material has been saved over the years, but friends find interesting things for me as well. I also use Art in America and Art Forum quite frequently.
