CATCHING A RIDE

Most students ate in the junior high cafeteria or walked to nearby restaurants.  Few were allowed to drive, so whenever a ride materialized, off we would go.

  1. I have never understood the hamburger - fever. I am from Hamburg and the ral Hamburger is a crunchy baguette - like bun opened with some oven roasted meat and delicious sauce in the middle. So much better than the famous American one!!!! Never mind. Hamburgers destroy our jungles. But even my kids are crazy for them. Much love Kiki

  2. Your ral Hamburger description sounds somewhat like American barbecue sandwiches. I don't eat meat very often, but a hamburger is very appealing at times.

  3. PS - I don't know why that black box with the white exclamation point keeps showing up. Sorry!

  4. This is a funny one, Joelle. The camel is a nice touch.

  5. I'm glad you like the camel, originally shown in a National Geographic magazine. I thought he had an "air" about him.
