"H" - SHE MUST FIND A HUSBAND
If a girl didn't meet her potential husband by the time she graduated from high school, it was imperative to find one in college. The age of twenty-five was considered a cut-off date to avoid being referred to as an "old maid".
LOL this is the same for many Arab countries. If you don't find one in college, then you should find one at work. Society thinks all your life rotates around finding a husband!
That's pretty much how it was in the Fifties here. Not too many females finished college or joined the work force. They married and stayed home to take care of their family.
