A weekly-ish blog sharing my series of collages about growing up in the South during the 1950s.

DRESSING ROOMS
Parents were concerned their children would encounter various stages of nudity in dressing rooms - especially at the swimming pool. Modesty definitely prevailed during the Fifties!
I wonder what happened to that modesty? I'm a history major and I find it interesting how different today's society is so different from the fifties or even the nineties.
This collage as a very eclectic feel to it. (not sure if I spelled that right, LOL!
I think part of the change in society came about when women were forced to work while men were fighting wars overseas and found it difficult to return to their former submissive roles.
The spelling of eclectic is correct - I made sure by looking in my trusty dictionary.
Ok, so I took the bait, fully expecting to see a naked person in a supermarket aisle. I'm bitterly disappointed, though she does have a cute bottom. :)
