RUNNING AWAY
Too many parental rules - ran away - no one seemed to care. Off on my own - ran all the way to neighbor's yard - hid in camellia bush. Daddy searched - asked me to return. Afraid of dark - went with him - in spite of EVERYTHING!
The two extra legs on the girl amused me. It looks like she's running herself ragged. She wants to stay home and do what's right and yet explore the world even if it's a little scary.
The extra legs were added to accent her speed and determination to get away even if that idea was short-lived. Your insightful interpretation was accurate.
Love it, Joelle. I started running away from chores and responsibilities when I was very young. I'm still running.
ReplyDeleteI don't totally agree with your assessment of yourself. You have been committed to your successful blog for quite a while. Thank you for commenting.
